Hello!
My name is Perrin Marie, and I'd like to thank you for considering me to work with your pet; I consider it a great honor. Below are answers to inquiries I often receive; please get in touch with me for additional information.
Who is Perrin Marie?
Perrin is an internationally published visual artist passionate about pets and portraiture. Connecting with animals has been a lifelong practice for Perrin, and she takes pride in the patience required to capture an animal's true personality on camera.
What type of pets?
All kinds! Kittens, snails, bears, oh my!
How many pets?
The more, the merrier!
For safety purposes, Perrin requires a 2:1 pet/human ratio.
Pets often respond best to family, and the expressions solicited can be a collaborative effort.
My pet isn't trained; is that okay?
No problem! Perrin specializes in creating situations that solicit natural moments showcasing each animal's personality. It's helpful for her to know beforehand what motivates your pet, like food or specific toys.
How long are the sessions?
The typical session lasts between 40mins- 1.5 hours.
If the animal needs additional time, Perrin will collaborate with the owner to schedule another opportunity to capture the pet in its most relaxed state.
Outfits?
Animals + Costumes = ADORABLE!
If your pet happily tolerates sweaters or shoes, bring them along! Perrin suggests introducing the costume to the pet before the session to solicit a comfortable expression.
